We have a close relationship with the San Jose State Air Force ROTC. SJS also provides the program to other local schools: Santa Clara University, Stanford University, UC Santa Cruz, and many local community colleges. Junior ROTC is a Title 10 US Code mandated citizenship training program that is designed to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, instill personal responsibility, character, and self-discipline. JROTC is not an officer accessions program and cadets are never under any obligation to join the military. Instructors are drawn from the former active duty and reserves.
